November 4: Jesus Will Turn Your Nightmare into a Dream!

John 7:2-5

Amplified Bible (AMP)
Now the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was drawing near.
So His brothers said to Him, Leave here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples [there] may also see the works that You do. [This is no place for You.]
For no one does anything in secret when he wishes to be conspicuous and secure publicity. If You [must] do these things [if You must act like this], show Yourself openly and make Yourself known to the world!
For [even] His brothers did not believe in or adhere to or trust in or rely on Him either.
Your own family rolls their eyes and disregards you? Don't worry about it. Jesus had the same challenge. He just responded in a mature manner, held His head up, and kept right on doing what He was brought into this world to do. What were YOU brought into this world to do? Just do it, even if your own family doesn't believe in you.

John 7:53-8:11

Amplified Bible (AMP)
53 [a]And they went [back], each to his own house.
But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
Early in the morning (at dawn), He came back into the temple [[b]court], and the people came to Him in crowds. He sat down and was teaching them,
When the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They made her stand in the middle of the court and put the case before Him.
Teacher, they said, This woman has been caught in the very act of adultery.
Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such [women—offenders] shall be stoned to death. But what do You say [to do with her—what is Your sentence]?
This they said to try (test) Him, hoping they might find a charge on which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger.
However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.
Then He bent down and went on writing on the ground with His finger.
They listened to Him, and then they began going out, conscience-stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court.
10 When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you?
11 She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.
This is one of my favorite portions of scripture. She was about to be stoned to death by evil Pharisees. A beautiful example of a horrifying scene turning around to a woman's encounter with the only One who had the power to forgive her sins!!! Wow!
Are you living a nightmare right now? I believe your nightmare will have a miraculous ending. What you need is an encounter with Jesus! He can turn the worst, most evil situation around to a blessed encounter of grace and mercy!
"Dear Jesus please give strength and power to the one who is completely rejected and scorned by her own family. Please turn the nightmare into a beautiful real life story of grace, mercy and forgiveness. Help Your dear child to praise her way out! Help her to feel deep, blessed joy in the midst of everything! Help her to believe, Jesus! You are worthy of our highest praise ALL the time. In Your name I pray, AMEN."
