November 15: Birthing Your Miracle!

Suggested reading: John chapters 15 - 17

John 16:16-18

Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me.
17 So some of His disciples questioned among themselves, What does He mean when He tells us, In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me, and, Because I go to My Father?
18 What does He mean by a little while? We do not know or understand what He is talking about.
Sometimes we don't get clear answers. In this case, if Jesus would have told them everything that was about to happen in detail, they would not have been able to bear it. I can't tell you how many times I have hoped and prayed for the best, only things got worse. Then, after the "worse" part, the amazing, beautiful, clear answer came. I couldn't have handled knowing what I was about to go through. God let me know just what I needed to know for each step I took.

John 16:19-24

Amplified Bible (AMP)
19 Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him, so He said to them, Are you wondering and inquiring among yourselves what I meant when I said, In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me?
20 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that you shall weep and grieve, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
21 A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief (anguish, agony) because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she no longer remembers her pain (trouble, anguish) because she is so glad that a man (a child, a human being) has been born into the world.
22 So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).
23 And when that time comes, you will ask nothing of Me [you will need to ask Me no questions]. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I Am].
24 Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I Am]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.
Right now you are overwhelmed with grief and lots of questions. Why? Why would a loving God allow this to happen? Things have gone from bad to worse. You have been leaning on God and trusting in Him and all your blind faith has gotten you nowhere.
It's okay to grieve and mourn and travail. It's ok to have an anguished spirit. Go ahead and moan and travail in God's presence.
But I need to back up first and say this. Get into God's presence first. Before you do all the weeping and moaning.
How? By praying the tabernacle plan. (Exodus chapters 25-31)
1. THE GATE
Enter into His gate with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4) In the midst of your pain, focus on Him and worship from the depths of your soul.

Job 13:15

Amplified Bible (AMP)
15 [I do it because, though He slay me, yet will I wait for and trust Him and] behold, He will slay me; I have no hope—nevertheless, I will maintain and argue my ways before Him and even to His face.
2. THE BRAZEN ALTAR
Repent. Search your heart, acknowledge your sin (we are all sinners), and ask God for forgiveness.
3. THE LAVER OF WATER
Allow the word of God to wash over you and through you. Read the Beatitudes (Matt. 5: 1-12) or a cleansing passage of your choice.
4. THE FIVE PILLARS

Isaiah 9:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.
Pray for a revelation of each name and for the power of each name to be manifest in your life.
Do a word study on each name now or later if you have a limited amount of time.
5. THE GOLDEN CANDLESTICK
Ask for spiritual direction and guidance. Pray for the anointing of the Holy Ghost to be present in your life. Ask for Jesus to give you His revelation and direction.

John 8:12

Amplified Bible (AMP)
12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.
6. TABLE OF SHEWBREAD

John 6:35

Amplified Bible (AMP)
35 Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).
Ask for a "rhema" (God-breathed) word to yourself specifically.
7. GOLDEN ALTAR OF INCENSE
Here the incense offered is our worship. Our intercession (prayers for ourselves and others) goes up to God as a sweet fragrance. Go ahead. Moan, graon, and cry out to Him. Stay here as long as you like.
8. THE VEIL
The veil is symbolic of the barrier of the flesh. Ask God to give you power to go beyond yourself, to operate not on your own faith, but God's faith. Enter into His presence unhindered by doubt.
9. THE HOLY OF HOLIES
This is the magic place of God's presence! Intimacy with God! You are free to be yourself! All barriers are down! You dont have to be strong here. You can crawl up on His lap as a little child! You can travail in His presence! You can moan, groan, and cry out to Him. His eye is on you!
You will birth your miracle by following these steps. I promise. And God's word promises.
(much of this prayer is taken from thepentecostals.org)

"Dear Jesus, I come to you right now with lots of questions! I simply don't understand Your ways. Sometimes Your ways seem uncaring and harsh. Yet I know You have a plan that I can't begin to understand. I will choose to trust Your plan, even when I don't understand. And I will cry, cry, cry out to You! You are my hiding place in the middle of this terrible storm! I worship You and I love You! I give You honor even when I don't comprehend Your plan! In Your precious name I pray, AMEN."
