GOD Morning! March 28 Boot Camp Day 22 / How Bad Do You Want It?

GOD Morning!  March 28
Boot Camp Day 22
How Bad Do You Want It?

Luke 1:21-38  AMP
21 The people [outside in the court] were waiting for Zacharias, and were wondering about his long delay in the temple. 22 But when he did come out, he was unable to speak to them. They realized that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he kept making signs to them, and remained mute.23 When his time of priestly service was finished, he returned to his home.
24 Now after this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant, and for five months she secluded herself completely, saying, 25 “This is how the Lord has dealt with me in the days when He looked with favor on me, to take away my disgrace among men.”

Jesus’ Birth Foretold

26 Now in the sixth month [of Elizabeth’s pregnancy] the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And coming to her, the angel said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” 29 But she was greatly perplexed at what he said, and kept carefully considering what kind of greeting this was. 30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 Listen carefully: you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 He will be great and eminent and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.” 34 Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin and have no intimacy with any man?” 35 Then the angel replied to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a cloud]; for that reason the holy (pure, sinless) Child shall be called the Son of God. 36 And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her.
Here's the deal. When we ask for the impossible, we must be willing to sacrifice in a huge way.
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
God chose Mary to give birth to the Savior of the world. Impossible. That a woman could be impregnated with the Son of God? No way!
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Notice Mary’s response to the angel.
“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.”
So many times, we are longing for the impossible but we are unwilling to be the servant of the Lord.
Are we willing to go through the long months of changing and growing as a person spiritually, emotionally and relationally?
We must accept the fact that the miracle is going to come from inside of us! Are we willing to fully devote ourselves to this miracle that we desire?
If we are longing for the impossible, we must be willing to BIRTH the impossible.
Instead of waiting and wondering why it’s not happening, we must turn our eyes inward. We must pray, "Change me, O Lord!" We must moan and groan in the Spirit. We must pray deep prayers of repentance.
I remember when I was longing for my son to come back to God. I would cry and pray, saying, “God, change me as you change my son. God, do a deep work in me as you work in my son. I feel like I literally birthed the miracle of my son coming back.
Oh, yes, I had many others praying along side of me, but I had to lay myself on the altar of sacrifice before the Lord. By myself and for myself.
And after two long years, my son came back home and back to God!
Just like Mary, I said over and over, “May it be done to me according to Your word.”
Do whatever You need to do in me, O God! I will do anything to see this miracle born in me!

“Dear Jesus, I have an impossible request today. I will do anything. I will give myself completely to You. I have been waiting for so long.  It’s time for me to make a move. It’s time for me to say “May it be done to me according to Your word.” It’s time for me to be transformed from the inside out. I want to birth this miracle. I want to see the impossible happen! Thank You Jesus ahead of time!”

“For with God nothing shall be impossible!”
