April 26: I shall NEVER be moved!!!

Psalms 1, 14, 15, 36, 37, and 39

Psalm 15

Amplified Bible (AMP)

Psalm 15

A Psalm of David.

Lord, who shall dwell [temporarily] in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell [permanently] on Your holy hill?
He who walks and lives uprightly and blamelessly, who works rightness and justice and speaks and thinks the truth in his heart,
He who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor;
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he who honors those who fear the Lord (who revere and worship Him); who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
[He who] does not put out his money for [a]interest [to one of his own people] and who will not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
He who does these things shall NEVER be moved!

Psalm 36

Amplified Bible (AMP)

Psalm 36

To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of the Lord.

Transgression [like an oracle] speaks to the wicked deep in his heart. There is no fear or dread of God before his eyes.
Having no fear of God is a scary thought! And yet few people really fear God. Many people today have the false belief they can "get around" God's commandments if they use this world's wisdom. But here's what God thinks:

1 Corinthians 3:19

Amplified Bible (AMP)
19 For this world’s wisdom is foolishness (absurdity and stupidity) with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their [own] craftiness;
Continuing:
For he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.
The liar looks at himself falsely. He really is only lying to himself.
The words of his mouth are wrong and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good.
He is only wise in his OWN eyes.
He plans wrongdoing on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject or despise evil.
He carefully plans out his lies. he embraces evil, all the while feeling very proud of himself and his lies.
Does this sound like someone who fears the Lord?
However:
Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, Your judgments are like the great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast.
How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
They relish and feast on the abundance of Your house; and You cause them to drink of the stream of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.
I'm thankful for God's light! In His light I see light!
10 O continue Your loving-kindness to those who know You, Your righteousness (salvation) to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 There the workers of iniquity fall and lie prostrate; they are thrust down and shall not be able to rise.
"Dear God, thank You for truth. Please help me to embrace truth instead of evil. I fear You, O God. I fear Your great and mighty hand. Help me to step carefully with a sure step that is rooted and grounded in Your word of truth. Cleanse my heart from any false way! Purify my thoughts. Protect me from the arrows of the enemy of my soul. I thank You and worship You for You are perfect in ALL Your ways. In Your precious name, Jesus, I pray this, AMEN."
