34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
As we read through Jesus' geneology, we have to agree with Peter when he states that God is no respector or persons! Abraham and David, righteous men of renown, were in Jesus' geneology, and also unrighteous people such as wicked King Manasseh. Jews as well as Gentiles share the honor of being in the lineage of Jesus. The list also includes a Canaanite and a Moabite, who were known to be enemies of God's people. Two of the women listed were considered outcasts of society!
