How do I catch a glimpse of God's glory? Simple!
Philippians 1:11
Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God [[a]that His glory may be both manifested and recognized].
1. The definition of the word abound is exist in large numbers or amounts. I must live right in the middle of large amounts of right standing with God and doing the right thing!
2. All, ALL, ALL, ALL, ALL!!!!! the praise must go to God, NOT ME! I am mud. Dust. Clay. Worthless without God. God's glory vanishes if I take one teeny sliver of credit. Through His power and His power alone, I gain strength to abound in His righteousness.
3. BAM! His glory appears and is recognized!
I saw God's glory appear this past Labor Day. I didn't think about It or notice It until evening after I had returned home.
A man and his three children sat and chatted with us as we were passing out free burgers and hot dogs in a neighborhood bound by discouragement and depression. His eyes were full of deep pain as he shared his story.
His wife had left him with their three young children. He was struggling to meet the needs of his family by working three jobs. My husband, Scott listened to him and prayed with him.

God's glory was quietly manifested and recognized right there!
God's glory showed up again yesterday as my daughter, Scotia and I visited with an elderly lady at the mall who had been very ill. Yesterday was her first time out since her illness. She seemed lonely. By the end of the conversation, she said, "Hope to see you on Sunday!" She expressed a desire to find a church home and friends her age.
"Dear Jesus, I so want to be Your hands and feet. I want to see Your glory manifested in everything I do! Help me to look into the eyes of everyone I meet today! Help me to speak words of encouragement to everyone. I will find Your glory by abounding in You and serving others just as You served and loved, while being ever aware that I am dust. Nothing without You. To You be ALL the honor, O God. You are worthy of ALL my praise. In Jesus precious name, AMEN!"
