GOD Morning! May 18 Facing and Embracing Your Worst Fear

GOD Morning! May 18
Facing and Embracing Your Worst Fear

John 6:16-21
16 When evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
17 And they took a boat and were going across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and still Jesus had not [yet] come back to them.
18 Meanwhile, the sea was getting rough and rising high because of a great and violent wind that was blowing.
19 [However] when they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat. And they were afraid (terrified).
20 But Jesus said to them, It is I; be not afraid! [I Am; stop being frightened!]
21 Then they were quite willing and glad for Him to come into the boat. And now the boat went at once to the land they had steered toward. [And immediately they reached the shore toward which they had been slowly making their way.]
The disciples were terrified when they saw Jesus.
They were terrified of their Answer.
What if Jesus’ closest friends had not invited Him into their boat?
Most likely, they would have lost their lives at sea.
What if your worst fear is actually Jesus?
What if the very thing that strikes fear in your heart is Jesus at work in your life?
“Nope! Not going there!” or, “Nope! Not doing that!!! Not now, not ever again.”
Stop and think for a moment. The very thing that you are the most afraid of may be the very thing that will bring wholeness, healing and your greatest blessing!
What if? What if you reject your greatest fear? You just may be rejecting your Answer. You may be rejecting Salvation. You may be rejecting your Lifeline.

Just do it. Embrace your worst fear. Open up your heart once more. Let your guard down. Let Him in your boat.

“Dear Jesus, Someone reading this right now is thinking, “No! Not that! I can’t bear that! That is TOO MUCH to ask. Absolutely not.” The very thing that will bring the Answer may be the very thing that is scaring her to death right now. Please. Turn her toward You right now, Jesus. You are her Answer. You are walking into her storm right this moment. Please open her eyes to see You, her Lifeline! Thank You Jesus! AMEN.”
